In keeping with this responsibility, we are proud to offer doors certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

The FSC is a non-profit international association drawing representatives globally from environmental and social groups, the timber and forestry professions, indigenous people’s organizations, community groups and forest product certification organizations.

Working in partnership, these organizations have put in place a system of certification whereby wood materials can be tracked from finished product all the way back to the certified forest or origin. This is called a Chain of Custody Certification. Western Oregon Door has earned this Chain of Custody Certification through a comprehensive audit and inspection procedure. This certification assures you that every Western Oregon Door FSC certified door contains a minimum of 70% , by volume, FSC certified materials, has been documented and its certified components can be tracked through all phases of manufacturing to the certified forest of origin.
